Tanakpur roadways workers continue sixth-day protest over equal pay and regularisation demands
Employees associated with the Uttaranchal Transport Workers Union continued their protest at the Tanakpur ISBT on Thursday, pressing for regularisation of contract and special-category staff, equal pay for equal work, 700 new buses and salary payment by the 7th of every month. The union warned that the agitation would continue indefinitely without a meaningful resolution.
