Kankhal road upgrade for Kumbh 2027 gets inspection, ₹3.93 crore plan includes footpaths
Officials from the Kumbh Mela administration and Public Works Department inspected a proposed upgrade from Shankaracharya Chowk through Kankhal police station to Deshrakshak Tiraha in Haridwar. The project covers road renewal, 3 kilometres of footpaths and drainage improvements, while local representatives and residents will help assess a raised-footpath sample before wider construction.
