Dehradun’s Doon Club restaurant shut after rats, cockroaches and stale food found in kitchen
A surprise inspection at Handi Restaurant inside Dehradun’s Doon Club found rodent activity, cockroaches, rotten vegetables and old cooked food. Officials destroyed around 22 kg of food, sent paneer, milk and chicken curry samples for testing, and shut the restaurant while issuing a 14-day notice for cleanup.
