Roorkee ex-property tax officer suspended over alleged ₹5.87 lakh receipt fraud
Former Roorkee Municipal Corporation property tax officer Mohammad Qayyum has been suspended after allegations that taxpayers were issued fake receipts for house tax and other dues. Vinay Vishal Health Care Private Limited has now complained to the municipal commissioner, alleging that it was also affected in the matter involving ₹5.87 lakh.
