Uttarkashi police have removed unauthorised name plates, designation boards and government-identification stickers from 38 private vehicles during a district-wide enforcement drive. The operation covered cars, jeeps, motorcycles and other vehicles across police station areas, while owners were warned against displaying official or influential identities without permission.
