Almora hospital sees over 50 daily mental-health cases as youth and children face rising concerns
The psychiatry outpatient department at Almora’s Base Hospital is seeing more than 50 patients each day, including about 15 young people. Doctors also report concerns involving children aged 5 to 14, while partum depression among women is often mistaken for ordinary tiredness and left untreated.
