Uttarakhand approves rise in district police women constable s from 526 to 2,000
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved a proposal to increase women constable s in Uttarakhand’s district police from 526 to 2,000. The plan includes adjustment of 1,474 s from existing sanctioned positions and seeks to address the deployment and future promotion prospects of 1,210 supernumerary women constables without increasing the total sanctioned strength.
