Almora district hospital screens 17 children for heart disease, 10 advised to undergo surgery
A free paediatric heart screening camp at Almora district hospital assessed 17 children aged from birth to 18 years under the National Child Health Programme. Doctors found that 10 children require immediate surgery and will be referred to Narayana Hospital, Gurugram, while 6 received medicines and one was found healthy.
