Haridwar excise teams inspect 16 liquor shops as undercover checks find no overcharging
The Haridwar Excise Department carried out surprise inspections at 16 liquor shops for the second consecutive day after complaints of customers being charged above printed prices. Officials bought liquor as ordinary customers and compared the billed amounts with the prices marked on the bottles, finding no overcharging during the checks.
