4.4 earthquake hits Uttarakhand’s Chamoli on 6 October 2026, tremors felt across Delhi-NCR
A 4.4-magnitude earthquake originating in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, shook Delhi-NCR and nearby parts of north India at about 10:23 AM PM on 6 October 2026. Tremors were reported in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Dehradun, while no deaths or property damage had been reported.
