Rain and light hail cool Nainital region as temperatures fall and children face seasonal illness
Rain and light hail in Dhanachuli brought relief to pea fields but intensified the chill across parts of Nainital district. Haldwani recorded a 3-degree fall in its maximum temperature, while fog and rain affected visibility in Nainital. The BD Pandey Hospital is also seeing 50–60 children daily with seasonal complaints.
