Uttarkashi plans cluster-based polyhouses to expand vegetable and flower farming
Uttarkashi is preparing to widen protected cultivation through cluster-based polyhouses measuring 50 to 500 square metres. The initiative under NABARD’s RIDF scheme will support vegetable and flower cultivation, while 114 farmers from Bhatwari and the Ganga Valley have received training in production, crop management and -harvest handling.
