Uttarakhand launches Apple Festival 3.0 to expand markets and raise hill farmers’ incomes
Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan inaugurated NABARD’s Apple Festival 3.0 in Dehradun, highlighting stronger farmer-producer organisations, better branding and improved market access. The festival featured apples, kiwi, vegetables and other farm products while officials urged greater storage, traceability and coordination between the government and NABARD.
