Haridwar police have arrested a 36-year-old woman and her husband in connection with the killing of Gopal Kumar, 50, whose body was found near Sarvanand Ghat. Police allege the couple and 2 others carried out the attack after inviting him to the city, then discarded his mobile phone and wallet in the Ganga.
Dehradun
A 26-year-old woman was found dead with gunshot wounds in Dehradun’s Subhash Nagar on Monday. Police said her husband reported the killing during a call to the control room before switching off his phone and escaping. Officers have registered a murder case and are examining CCTV footage, call records and other evidence.
