Roorkee road collapse near Sher Singh Rana Chowk leaves 15-foot pit, closes Muktilpuri route
A section of road near Sher Singh Rana Chowk in Roorkee’s Muktilpuri has collapsed, creating a 15-foot-deep pit and shutting the route. A sewer-line leak is believed to have weakened the ground beneath the road. A JCB has reached the site, while repair work is underway and residents seek an early reopening.
