Kashipur cyber fraud: Fake Home Ministry official takes ₹1.89 lakh, ₹1.84 lakh withdrawn online
Cyber fraudsters allegedly cheated 2 people in separate incidents in Kashipur, causing a combined loss reported at about ₹3.74 lakh. In one case, a caller claimed to be a Home Ministry official and threatened the victim over a fake SIM card. Police have registered cases and started investigating both incidents.
