Tungnath temple winter closure date announced at Makkumath; doors to shut on 6 November 2026
The winter closure date for the doors of Lord Tungnath, the Third Kedar, was announced at Markateshwar Temple in Makkumath on Vijayadashami. The shrine will close for devotees on 6 November 2026, while its ceremonial processional doli will reach its winter seat on 8 November.
