Harish Rawat appears before ED in 2016 VPDO case after notice, faces 4-hour questioning
Former Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat appeared at the Enforcement Directorate’s Dehradun office on Saturday in a money-laundering case linked to alleged irregularities in the 2016 VPDO recruitment examination. After questioning that lasted about 4 hours, Rawat accused the ruling government of political vendetta, while BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt criticised his conduct.
