Uttarakhand monsoon likely to withdraw on 3 October as dry spell gives way to rain from 5 October
The southwest monsoon is expected to retreat from most of Uttarakhand within the next 24 hours. All 13 districts are forecast to remain dry on 3 and 4 October, while rain may return to the hills from 5 October and spread across the state on 7 and 8 October, with lightning possible in several areas.
