Authorities in Jyotirmath, Chamoli, are preparing to demolish 21 government buildings declared unsafe after land subsidence and scientific assessments. The structures will be cleared after evacuation, while new government buildings may be constructed at safe locations. More than 55 unsafe private buildings have already been demolished, with compensation provided to affected people.
