Nainital shivers as fog and cold winds intensify; rain and snowfall warning issued for Kumaon
Nainital experienced persistent cold, fog and sharp winds on Thursday, leaving residents uncomfortable despite a brief spell of sunshine. Conditions also turned chilly in Haldwani, while the Meteorological Centre in Dehradun warned of moderate to heavy rain in parts of Kumaon, including Nainital and Pithoragarh, with snowfall possible in higher areas.
