Almora villagers oppose road inspection for Khatyadi drinking water pumping scheme
Residents of Chaumu village in Almora protested an inspection of a proposed road to the Khatyadi drinking water pumping scheme. They said the route would pass through the village and could affect households along the roadside. The villagers sought an impartial inquiry, resolution of objections and a halt to further work until the review is completed.
