Uttarkashi’s Kafnaul water scheme remains incomplete after 2 and a half years
A Jal Jeevan Mission project intended to serve about 400 families in Kafnaul village remains unfinished after 2 and a half years. Pipes meant for the 12-kilometre supply network are lying unused in forest areas, while permission for construction through reserved forest land remains the central obstacle.
