Uttarkashi’s Jalang road remains neglected; villagers set 2-week deadline, warn of poll boycott
Residents of Jalang village in Uttarkashi’s Dunda development block have asked the district magistrate to begin pending road repairs within 2 weeks. They say the neglected road is disrupting travel and have warned of a fast and a boycott of voting in the upcoming assembly election if work does not begin.
