Rudrapur truck crash kills Jafarpur man; driver flees after vehicle is stopped
A 40-year-old man, identified as Vikas Batra, died after a truck hit him while he was crossing a road near Jafarpur in Rudrapur’s Dineshpur police station area. Police took the truck into custody after local people stopped it near Tel Mill Chowki, but the driver escaped and remains the subject of a search.
