24-year-old woman dies hours after home birth in Champawat village; bleeding suspected
Nima Devi, 24, died after giving birth at home in Karauli village of Champawat’s Pati block. Relatives took her to Pati hospital on Wednesday morning after her condition worsened, but doctors declared her dead. Officials are investigating the delivery circumstances, treatment delay and possible excessive bleeding.
