Rudraprayag CHC faces specialist shortage as vacant gynaecologist strains mountain patients
A key community health centre in Kedarnath valley is operating without a gynaecologist, while its appointed general surgeon, Dr Vaibhav Vishal, is away for further studies. The shortage is affecting patients from remote villages, including women seeking pregnancy-related care, and is pushing some families towards private hospitals.
