Chamoli Collectorate staff protest pending demands, announce strike and office shutdown on October
Employees of the Uttarakhand Collectorate Ministerial Employees Association wore black bands while working across Chamoli on Monday, protesting demands they said had remained unresolved for years. The union will continue the symbolic protest through October 14 and has announced a one-day sit-in and complete work stoppage at the Collectorate headquarters on October 17.
