Teachers at 71 Uttarakhand polytechnics set 2-day deadline over pending service demands
Teachers at Government Polytechnic Srinagar and 70 other state-run polytechnic institutions in Uttarakhand are working with black armbands to protest pending demands. The Uttarakhand Polytechnic Teachers’ Association has given the department 2 days to respond, warning that teachers will otherwise begin a complete departmental work boycott.
