Uttarkashi woman Sumitra Devi dies after snakebite while working in field; body taken for -mort
Sumitra Devi, a resident of Garhth village in Uttarkashi, died during treatment after being bitten by a snake at Chopra Tok on 21 October. Her family took her to Primary Health Centre Banchora on the Forest Department’s advice, but doctors could not save her.
