Pithoragarh leopard attack: 8-year-old taken near home after village warned DM a week earlier
An 8-year-old boy was taken by a leopard near his home in Bhandarigaon, Gangolihat, at 4:00 PM, with his body later found 200 metres away. The incident came about a week after the village head reportedly warned the district magistrate about leopard movement, raising fresh questions about responses to threats in Uttarakhand’s hill settlements.
