Police stop UKD march near Simli Bend as Uttarakhand Assembly session begins in Bhararisain
Police stopped Uttarakhand Kranti Dal members at Simli Bend, about 41 km before Gairsain, as they marched towards the Assembly in Bhararisain ahead of the Vidhan Sabha session. The party is seeking permanent-capital status for Gairsain-Bhararisain, justice in the Ankita Bhandari case and action on other issues.
