Uttarakhand Cabinet Approves Floodplain Zoning Rules to Regulate Land Use in Flood-Prone Areas
The Uttarakhand Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, approved Floodplain Zoning Rules during its first meeting in Haridwar on Monday. The decision is intended to regulate land use in flood-prone areas, alongside approvals covering welfare schemes, administrative reforms and infrastructure strengthening across the state.
