A fire broke out at around 6:00 AM at Kotdwar’s Jhandachowk Tourist Complex on Wednesday, destroying goods in 3 shops and damaging others on the first and second floors. Firefighters and SDRF personnel took nearly 2 hours to contain the blaze, while a juice seller helped rescue 3 family members from the third floor.
Rudraprayag
A Fire Service team led by Shankar Chand Ramola inspected firefighting equipment and safety arrangements at key establishments on the Kedarnath Yatra route.
