Bageshwar festive shopping gets costlier as sugar reaches ₹65 a kilogram and mustard oil rises
Festive food shopping in Bageshwar has become more expensive, with sugar rising from ₹55 to ₹65 per kilogram and a 15-litre mustard-oil tin increasing by around ₹150 to ₹2,600. Higher prices for pulses are also adding pressure, prompting households to check rates and limit purchases to their immediate needs.
