More than 60,000 people faced power disruption in Haldwani after rain damaged lines and scheduled maintenance halted supply. UPCL has announced further shutdowns for line construction and trimming work, affecting several feeders on Thursday and 4 substations on October 9, with water supplies also under pressure.
