Haldwani Diwali power demand may reach 70 MW as Energy Corporation readies 32 feeders
Haldwani’s daily electricity demand of 60 to 65 MW is expected to rise to 70 MW during Diwali as homes and markets add lighting. The Energy Corporation is completing maintenance on 32 feeders linked to 7 substations and monitoring peak-hour loads to reduce the risk of transformer failures and line trips.
