Rishikesh’s Sanjay Lake remains neglected as revival plans stall despite crores in proposed works
Sanjay Lake, spread across about 14 hectares near Ganganagar and Kali ki Dhaal, remains overgrown and dirty despite plans for eco-tourism and a biodiversity park. Residents say basic facilities have deteriorated, while the forest department says a detailed project report has been sent and work will begin after budget approval.
