Almora pet dog owners face ₹2,000 fine for skipping mandatory registration
Almora Municipal Corporation has begun action against owners who keep pet dogs without registration. Dogs older than 3 months must be registered at the corporation office. Owners must submit vaccination and anti-rabies certificates along with Aadhaar, pay a ₹200 fee and renew the registration every April.
