Uttarakhand proposes ₹290 crore for Kumbh works, water projects and landslide response
Uttarakhand’s proposed 2026-27 supplementary budget focuses on preparations for the upcoming Divya Kumbh, the Haridwar-Ganga Corridor and the Nanda Raj Jat pilgr. It also sets aside funds for drinking-water projects in Gairsain, Jal Jeevan Mission payments and works in Joshimath and other areas affected by land subsidence.
