Gravel scattered across 8 km of Dharchula Highway raises night-time road safety concerns
Gravel was found spread across about 8 kilometres of the strategically important Dharchula Highway from Panda towards Patalpokhara near Nainipatal on Tuesday evening. The material was reportedly dropping from an overloaded pickup, creating a slipping hazard for 2-wheelers and cars and prompting questions about monitoring and enforcement.
