Uttarakhand Cabinet clears Vigilance revamp, cuts 11 s and approves 6 new positions
The Uttarakhand Cabinet has approved a staffing overhaul for the Vigilance Establishment, removing 11 constable-level s while adding 6 positions in other cadres. It has also cleared a notification framework for appointing an alternative assistant public prosecutor and approved changes to a 1965 Vigilance notification to align it with current criminal laws.
