Chunadhara landslide blocks Kotdwar highway; debris and boulders cause hours-long traffic jam
A slope near Chunadhara released debris and large boulders after heavy rain, blocking the Pauni (Pauri) National Highway for about an hour and creating a dangerous mud-cleared zone. Traffic was restored after clearance, but ongoing rockfall kept the area hazardous as officials monitor the situation and assess damage to nearby facilities and beautification works.
