20-year-old Shaktifarm woman dies on way to Haldwani after giving birth to son
A 20-year-old woman died while being taken to Haldwani after her condition worsened following childbirth at the Community Health Centre in Shaktifarm. Officials said she was referred to a higher centre, while the facility’s superintendent cited the absence of a joining woman and obstetrics specialist and leave taken by a specialist in Sitarganj.
