Chhidderwala land filling case: Geology department imposes ₹1.51 lakh penalty
The Geology and Mining Department has imposed a ₹1.51 lakh penalty after an inspection in Chhidderwala, under Rishikesh tehsil, found minor minerals had been brought from elsewhere for land development without the required legal documents and royalty records. The action follows a complaint and wider enforcement instructions in Dehradun district.
