Uttarkashi police arrest intoxicated dumper driver, issue challans to 15 vehicles
Uttarkashi traffic police have intensified vehicle checks in Dharasu and Chinyalisaur ahead of Char Dham Yatra-2026. Officers issued challans to 15 drivers for violations including over-speeding and over-height vehicles, while a dumper driver allegedly found driving under the influence was arrested and the vehicle seized.
