Dhami says Uttarakhand border villages from Champawat to the frontier will be India’s first villages
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said border settlements traditionally described as the country’s last villages should instead be recognised as India’s first villages. He named several settlements, including Nagla Tarai, Melaghat, Sisaiya, Narayan Nagar, Pachoriya, Gosikuwa and Bhudai, while referring to villages from Gudmi in Champawat to the border.
