Dehradun hostel emptied in 4 days as thieves posed as buyers and removed doors, windows and taps
A gang allegedly cleared a locked hostel in Dehradun’s Bidhouli area over 4–7 October after posing as buyers and showing neighbours a purported sale agreement. The thieves removed beds, geysers, cupboards, doors, windows and bathroom fittings before the operator discovered the loss on 9 October. Police have registered a theft case.
