Kashipur farmers protest as paddy weighing remains stalled at New Grain Market
Farmers staged a protest at Kashipur New Grain Market on Wednesday, alleging that kachcha arhtiyas had not begun weighing paddy despite the crop being ready. Led by Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Jitendra Singh Jitu, they said delayed sales were causing financial and mental stress and warned of a wider agitation.
