Centre gives Uttarakhand 14,520 metric tonnes extra foodgrain for Haridwar Ardh Kumbh 2027
The Union government has allocated 14,520 metric tonnes of additional foodgrain to Uttarakhand for the proposed Ardh Kumbh Mela-2027 in Haridwar. The allocation includes equal quantities of wheat and rice and is intended to support food availability and supply arrangements during the event, according to the Uttarakhand Chief Minister’s Office.
